IV International Conference and Exhibition The AtomEco Conference will be reconvened in 2010 following the success of the previous events held in Moscow, Russia. Those events became a gathering place and caused a substantial interest among the world-wide nuclear community involved in radioactive waste management, spent nuclear fuel management, decommissioning and dismantlement, environmental remediation. The events have featured more than 600 representatives each year from as large as 100 organizations, agencies, companies, research institutes from Russia, USA, France, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Germany, UK, etc. Of them should be outlined the following recognizable organizations and global reach companies as IAEA, JSC Atomenergoprom, Energy Solutions, Nukem, Sogin, Ansaldo Nuclear, U.S. Nuclear Regulation Commission, CH2MHill, NAC, U.S. Department of Energy, EBRD, STUK, NAEK Kazatomprom, JSC TVEL, JSC Tekhsnabexport, etc. Invited panelists from world-wide nuclear authorities and agencies, research institutions, companies and facilities will discuss such the vital issues of nuclear industry development as:
- New nuclear fuel cycles and realization of Russian federal programs on advanced nuclear fuel cycle technologies development
During the Conference there will be the IAEA International Workshop on “Remediation of Legacy Facilities and Sites. Challenges, Lessons Learned and Ways Forward”.
